2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the platform. Teens aged 13–17 may use the platform with the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who holds the account.

Users are responsible for ensuring their account information is accurate and up to date, as well as safeguarding their login credentials.

3. Creating and Using an Account

By creating an account on Kraahl, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
  • Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Use your account in compliance with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and all other applicable policies.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Creating multiple accounts without permission.
  • Using another User's account without authorization.
  • Engaging in fraudulent activity or misrepresentation.

4. Listings, Posts, and Transactions

Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and photos of items. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their items comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Users can create Posts to share photos, text, and engage with the Kraahl community, provided the content adheres to our Community Guidelines.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing Listings carefully before making purchases. Sellers are responsible for shipping items promptly and accurately. Disputes between Buyers and Sellers should first be resolved directly or via PayPal's resolution center.

5. Fees

No Seller Fees: Kraahl does not charge Sellers any platform commission, processing fee, or listing fee on sales made through the marketplace. Sellers retain 100% of the sale amount they set, minus any fees that may be independently charged by third‑party payment processors (e.g. PayPal) which are outside of Kraahl's control.

Buyer Service Fee: A service fee may be charged to Buyers at checkout. It helps support platform operation, security, and future feature development. The applicable amount (if any) is displayed transparently at checkout before you confirm payment. Current structure: $1.25 + 5.0%.

Non-Refundable Service Fee: The Buyer Service Fee is a charge for use of the Kraahl platform and related services at the time of checkout. Once payment is completed, the service fee is non-refundable, including when a buyer receives a refund of the item purchase price, when an order is cancelled by mutual agreement, or when a buyer changes their mind. Refunds of item amounts (where applicable) do not include reimbursement of the service fee unless Kraahl is required to refund it under applicable law.

Adjustments: Kraahl may introduce, modify, or remove the Buyer Service Fee at any time. Changes take effect once reflected at checkout and/or in these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

Note: External payment processors (such as PayPal) may apply their own fees. These are determined solely by the processor and are not collected by Kraahl.

6. Payments

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through PayPal. Users must link a valid PayPal account to engage in Transactions. By using PayPal, Users agree to its terms and conditions.

Taxes and Fees: Buyers are responsible for any applicable taxes, shipping fees, and other costs. Kraahl collects applicable platform fees automatically at the point of sale.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks: By completing a transaction on Kraahl, you acknowledge and accept all charges displayed at checkout, including the mandatory platform service fee, which is non-refundable as set out in Section 5. Legitimate grounds for a refund or dispute include: non-delivery of goods, fraud or scam by the Seller, or unauthorized transactions. In such cases, Buyers may pursue refunds of the item purchase amount through PayPal's resolution center and applicable consumer protection laws; the service fee remains non-refundable except where required by law. By contrast, opening a dispute, chargeback, or payment reversal request solely due to buyer's remorse, change of mind, or a desire to cancel an order for personal reasons—including seeking a refund of the platform service fee—constitutes a material breach of these Terms. Such actions may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination at Kraahl's sole discretion. Users who engage in abusive dispute practices forfeit their right to use the platform and may be permanently banned from creating new accounts.

7. Acceptable Use

You must use Kraahl in compliance with these Terms and our Community Guidelines, which set out behavioral rules for messaging, harassment, off-platform sales, content standards, and enforcement. Violations of the Community Guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

Kraahl reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to monitor Listings, Posts, private messages, and Transactions (including payment flows) to detect illegal conduct, attempts to bypass the platform, or other violations. Monitoring may include automated scans and manual reviews performed by authorized team members to maintain marketplace integrity and compliance with applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property and Copyright Policy

Ownership of Content:

All content available on Kraahl, including text, images, logos, and trademarks, is the property of Kraahl SASU or its licensors. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.

User Content:

Users retain ownership of any original content they upload (e.g., photos, text in posts) but grant Kraahl a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and worldwide license to use, display, and promote the content in connection with the platform.

DMCA and Copyright Complaints:

If you believe content on Kraahl infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact contact@kraahl.com with:

  • A description of the copyrighted work or material you believe is being infringed.
  • The location (URL) of the allegedly infringing content.
  • Your contact details (name, address, email).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Kraahl will promptly investigate and, if necessary, remove or disable access to the infringing content.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Sellers are responsible for shipping items in a timely manner to the Buyer's provided address.

Kraahl is not liable for delays, lost shipments, or items damaged in transit.

Buyers and Sellers must resolve shipping disputes directly or through PayPal.

10. Limitation of Liability

Kraahl is not responsible for:

  • Accuracy of item descriptions or photos provided by Sellers.
  • Disputes or issues between Buyers and Sellers.
  • Losses resulting from unauthorized account access.
  • Items lost, damaged, or delayed during shipping.

11. Privacy

Kraahl respects your privacy and handles your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Updates to Terms

Kraahl may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via the Site or email. Continued use of the platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of France.
